The list of celebrities who could fill the vacant judge's seat on "X Factor" keeps getting longer and longer, and so it continues with the new addition of Avril Lavigne.
The punk rock singer has reportedly reached out to the member of the hit reality show, expressing her interest in becoming a part of the panel.
According to a TMZ report, the 27-year-old believes she would be a perfect fit for the job thanks to her early entrance into the music industry and the years of experience she has gained since. Adding to the possibility is the fact that Avril enjoys a close relationship with current judge L.A. Reid. He's responsible for signing Lavigne to her first record deal with Arista Records and then later re-signing her to Epic Records label.
Among the ther stars rumored to be gunning for "X Factor's" open seats are pop icon Britney Spears and longtime music maven Janet Jackson.
