After dating for only six months, Avril Lavigne and Nickleback frontman Chad Kroeger are engaged!
The Canadian rockers kept their
relationship under wraps after the two first got together in February to
co-write a song for the 27-year-old's upcoming fifth studio album.
A source told People, "A romantic
relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together."
On August 8, the 37-year-old singer
proposed with a huge 14-carat diamond ring. After the proposal, Avril's family
said, "He makes her so happy. Both of their families could not be more
excited."
This is Chad's first marriage and the
second for the "Complicated" singer, who split from Sum 41 star Deryck Whibley
in 2009. She had also dated Brody Jenner.
Sometimes you just got to have a burger.
Today, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone did just that at In-N-Out Burger in Los
Angeles on Monday (August 27). The happy couple was all smiles as they cruised
through the drive-thru.
After their greasy lunch, the lovebirds
took a romantic stroll to hunt for vintage books. The 23-year-old rocked tiny
denim shorts with a black top, while her 29-year-old beau donned a vintage tee
with jeans.

Miss Stone opened up to Interview magazine in the September 2012 issue about the
always present photographers.
The blonde beauty said, "Of course, you
do have that moment where you want to say, 'I don't know why there are eight of
you here, and I'd like to have a conversation with you so I can know why you
need this picture of me walking around...' And there are people who start to get
really self-defensive and preach to you about why you're wrong for questioning
it."
Later, the "Help" star shared a more
touching moment with one of her many photographers. "There was this one Hasidic
guy who wore a suit, and he was following me around for a while in New York. He
was taking my picture, and I was like, 'What are you doing?' And he put down the
camera and was really nervous and said, 'This week, People (magazine) is running
a story on you, so I need three pictures.' And I was like, 'Well, at least I
know why you're here.'"
Disproving claims that she'd fallen out
of the fashion house's good favor, Kristen Stewart is featured in a new ad as
the face of Balenciaga's latest perfume, Florabotanica.
The Nicolas Ghesquière designed print
spot finds the cheating scandal-plagued "Twilight" actress striking a profile
pose in a mostly black and white theme with tinges of color clustered in the top
right corner.
Appearing in the latest issue of Spanish
Elle magazine, the K-Stew Balenciaga ad comes as the fragrance is slated to be
released in select stores next month (September).
Thrilled over having been chosen to be
the face of Florabotanica, 22-year-old Kristen previously told WWD in a
statement, "I love Balenciaga fashion because it is incredibly bold and
forceful, yet feminine and sexy."
"I found there was a real creative
freedom in this project. I feel blessed and really proud to be the face of this
new fragrance," Stewart added.
Facing more relationship drama, Usher is
back in court with another issue regarding his 2009 divorce.
According to TMZ, the R&B singer has
been held in contempt for closing his ex-wife Tameka Foster’s Saks Fifth Avenue
credit card last year.
Although the card was under the
33-year-old performer's name, Tameka claims that she cannot do her job as a
stylist without having the account. As a result, the court is on her side and is
demanding that Usher reopen the account.
Aside from the Saks drama, the court was
also in favor of Foster’s claim that Raymond owed more than $1,300 for past due
nanny bills.
At this time there has still been no
settlement on the custody and support differences.

Olympic fever has certainly got a hold of

Caught in the midst of family drama,
Paris Jackson still keeps focus on her late father.
The outspoken daughter of Michael Jackson
tweeted a photo of her bedroom wall covered in photos of her beloved
dad.
After a follower commented that the
14-year-old might be obsessed, she fired back, " yeaa u better believe it ,a

Following the reinstatement of her
82-year-old grandmother as guardian (along with uncle TJ), Paris is getting back
to normal teenage life.

about the possibility of a new relationship.
While spending time in the tropical
